Here's how to use Time Zone Helper
:
- First open Time Zone Helper, Start Menu\Programs\Time Zone Helper\Time
Zone Helper
- Time Zone Helper lists a single user - you, the Local User. It also tries
to guess your location and time zone
- Change 'Local User' to your name
- Change the location to your current location, if incorrect (this
information comes from Windows and is usually wildly inaccurate)
- Set your time zone manually if required, otherwise check that the default
time zone is correct
- Select the appropriate Daylight Saving Time (DST) Rule from the
drop-down list
- Change the times for the start and end of your working day, if required
- On the second line, enter the details for the person you want to talk to.
Where are they? What is their time zone?
- Repeat the last step for each person you need to talk to
- Click Refresh, and Time Zone Helper displays the time overlaps between you
and your colleagues.
- Save the settings for future use.
