Here's how to use Time Zone Helper :

  1. First open Time Zone Helper, Start Menu\Programs\Time Zone Helper\Time Zone Helper
  2. Time Zone Helper lists a single user - you, the Local User. It also tries to guess your location and time zone
  3. Change 'Local User' to your name
  4. Change the location to your current location, if incorrect (this information comes from Windows and is usually wildly inaccurate)
  5. Set your time zone manually if required, otherwise check that the default time zone is correct
  6. Select the appropriate Daylight Saving Time (DST) Rule from the drop-down list
  7. Change the times for the start and end of your working day, if required
  8. On the second line, enter the details for the person you want to talk to. Where are they? What is their time zone?
  9. Repeat the last step for each person you need to talk to
  10. Click Refresh, and Time Zone Helper displays the time overlaps between you and your colleagues.
  11. Save the settings for future use.
