| (Pro version only) Removes binary characters such as those higher than ASCII code 127, and those less than ASCII code 32 except for carriage returns (ASCII code 13) and line feeds (ASCII code 10). This filter if very useful if you have a corrupted word processor file, or if you just want to see what text, if any, is inside a file. The binary information required by the word processor can be removed, leaving you with just the text. If you wish to retain foreign characters, create a new map based on the Remove Binary filter, then customize the map to retain the characters you need. See also |
