Please explain why it's expensive?
I'm a poor student and hoping to use it for my project but unfortually I can't afford to pay at that price.
The 10 days license is a good idea but $30 is a bit too much for a 10 days license don't you think?
Maybe $30 is ok for the year and WITHOUT supports. How's that for a poor student?
Btw, if you want to reply me in private, don't bother because my email is highly blocked by unwanted mail. So you'll have to reply here on this topic.

Sorry Colt,
In short, it's not expensive at all. $30 is peanuts for a corporation to fix up 100MB+ data files, when a consultant costs $70+ per hour (and one who knows what they are doing costs more). At that rate, even $270 for the full product is peanuts.

I've got to agree with Simon on this one....
As a poor entreapreneur that relies on TPP for many things, and really can't afford the extras, I've learned to suck it up my TPP costs for one simple reason: TPP is not just a product that does effective search and replace etc. In many respects, TPP is a development platform that is easier to use than say, VB and/or JAVA, has Text Process powers to rival PERL, and allows a user to easily tie together: DB's, File Data, VB Script, Perl-Script, Batch-Files, Standard and Custom Filters, as well as external Programs for a final solution that gets jobs done in a fashion that's quick and pretty darn impressive. If you're considering TPP the Search and Replace tool, and not investing in 'TPP the Development Platform,' you're not giving TPP the credit that it's deserves. IMHO, by asking Simon to lower his prices, just cause you can't go pick up a part-time job for a week or something, is like saying, C'Mon Gates, can't I just please have Visual Studio and SQL Server for 30 bucks, I only need it for one thing.
