Outlook 2007 Blocking access to link

Hi,

I'm an new DetachPipe user and have just ran the tool in Outlook 2007 with options to replace the original attachment with a link to it and save the attachments to another folder on the C: drive.
However, when I open a message that has had the attachment removed and a link added I get an outlook message saying: Outlook has blocked access to the following unsafe attachments...
This client connects to an Exchange Server and I'm also the network Admin so should be able to make any necessary changes to allow access, I'm just not sure what to change.
Before running DetachPipe on this machine, I was able to open all of the attachments (.jpgs, .pdfs, etc) from within the message. I'm not sure why a link to the attachment would be less safe than opening the file directly from the message...?
Please help asap...if this works well I'll need to get it for other Users on my network.

What is the attachment type of the file that gets this warning?

I agree with you - it should not happen. Is the target location 'trusted' in the browser or outlook's settings?

Thanks for quick reply! The attachments that were replaced by links in this case are .jpgs, but I'm sure this user's Inbox also contains .pdfs, .doc and .idd (In Design) files.
The target location was whatever the default path is set to on installation which I believe is C:\Users\...
I did not change any settings in either the browser or Outlook though, so that might be the issue.
Where would I verify that the target location is trusted? On the local browser, Outlook client or on the Exchange Server for that user?

Tools\Trust Center in Outlook itself I believe, although this may also be in the browser. Which application is giving the warning?

Disable hyperlink warnings for 2007 Office programs
To disable the hyperlink warnings in 2007 Office Programs when an http:// address, notes:// or an ftp:// address is used, you must create a new registry subkey. To do this, follow these steps:

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open dialog box, type regedit, and then click OK.
In Registry Editor, locate one of the following registry subkeys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common
NoteYou only have to modify one of these registry subkeys. You do not have to modify both of them.
Note If the Security subkey already exists, skip to Step 6 after selecting the Security subkey.
Click the registry subkey, point to New on the Edit menu, and then click Key.
Type Security, and then press ENTER to name the key.
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type DisableHyperlinkWarning, and then press ENTER to name the entry.
In the right pane, right-click DisableHyperlinkWarning, and then click Modify.
In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, click Decimal, and then type 1 under Value data.

Note A value of 0 enables the hyperlink warning message. A value of 1 disables the hyperlink warning message.
Click OK.
Exit Registry Editor.

I applied this Registry tweak under both the User's account and also the Administrator account, but to no avail.
If I go back to a message that DetachPipe removed the attachment from and added a link I still get the error message that Outlook has blocked access.
I have researched Google with regard to Oulook 2007 Securities and also found this Registry fix, unfortunately it does not fix the problem
Now this user needs to access some of the attachments and it's a hassle to try to find it without being able to link from the original message.
Is there an 'Undo' with Detachpipe so I can re-pair the attachments with the messages and just chalk this up as not working?
