Outlook 2003 keeps prompting for alert when accessing mail

Using Outllook 2003 service pack 1. After installing detachPipe, everytime I send an email, I will be prompted with the dialog box saying that an application is trying to access the address book. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may due to virus and you should choose "no"
Is there a work around so that my outlook will not prompt me again?

Any help is much appreciated.

Which version of the DetachPipe AddIn is this?

You are right. I am using version 4.1. I just upgraded DetachPipe to 4.3 and it fixes 90% of the problem but I am still getting prompt for the aleart message.

Remaining 10% - All the messages either have an attachment or a picture in the message.

The challenging part is, some of the email with attachment works without getting any alert.

Is there a way for me to remove the add-in and use the standalone?

Very strange that you should get it on some but not all.

Good point - you should be able to install/uninstall the addin/standalone separately. For now, close down Outlook, and delete the file DPAddin.dll

A new installer is now available - see

http://www.crystalsoftware.com.au/detachpipe2.exe

It lets you install either or both the standalone or addin versions.
