How correctly (sorting/convert) using UTF-8 in Trial Run?

Postby Fixer » Fri Aug 01, 2008 1:28 am

Hi,
I have a little problem with UTF-8 charsets in "Trial Run Area" in right window. After press F5 a have a "?" charsets but when I save output do the single file all looks OK, why?
File input and output are saved in UTF-8 format.

===SIMPLE DATA BEGIN===
Však su vinař
Бальзаковский возраст, или все мужики своR
żźćńąśłę€ó
===SIMPLE DATA END===

After ANSI sorting filter
Trial Run Area (problem with "?")
===SIMPLE DATA BEGIN===
????????????? ???????, ??? ??? ?????? ???R
Však su vinař
żźćńąśłę€ó
===SIMPLE DATA END===

Single File output (looks fine)
===SIMPLE DATA BEGIN===
Бальзаковский возраст, или все мужики своR
żźćńąśłę€ó
Však su vinař
===SIMPLE DATA END===

How to repair data in Trial Run Area?

This is exactly as documented - the Trial Run areas support either ANSI or Unicode (ie UTF-16LE) formats.
