Virus infection Win32/Induc.a

Post by DataMystic Support » Tue Sep 08, 2009 9:06 am

On April 19 the anti-virus companies identified a new virus, labelled Win32/Induc.a.
Within 12 hours we had re-released the affected titles - DetachPipe, File Watcher, WebPipe, TextPipe Pro beta (only).

The virus didn't do anything other than spread itself, and it only infected systems with a Delphi compiler loaded (a programming tool).

More info on Win32/Induc.a:

Kudos to google - who red-flagged our website to warn of the issue. For consumers this is fantastic protection. They reviewed our site promptly and removed the red warning signs.
