Re: Remove partial duplicate lines from list

Have just solved a similar task. http://www.datamystic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2195 The only difference is that I needed to find all unique abbreviations while you need to find all unique 20 (for instance) symbols in the beginning of every line. So try this attachment. It's an attempt to ada...

Acording to manual: Single file Output (join input files together) - The filename can contain Environment Variables escaped between % signs e.g. %TEMP%\myfile.txt, and macros or global variables. While processing I create a global variable by "Capture text" method or this structure (?P<gvar>......) ...

Re: IE 5.5 ?

I tried to use TP as web-parser. The tab "Files to process" encourages me to download pages. This is how the manual says "..You can specify an internet link to download and then process by specifying the link e.g. http://www.hotmail.com. So I put a list of internet-links into "Files to process" for ...

Re: Help please with replacing

You've got to start "on the contrary" - that is, to process not your starting URL (that'll require from you to generate a list of URLs and this soft better processes smth that already exists).
Instead of this, take your list of numbers and add the missing parts to every line.

IE 5.5 ?

The prog seems to use a terribly outdated version of in-built brouser. My sniffer indicates it as IE 5.5.
The result is that many sites do not give their pages for download just because of the in-built brouser's signature.

P.S. Running evaluation version of TP Pro at OS WinXP SP3 with IE 8.0

Re: need help with regex plz

"Note: startFile() is ALSO called when the Script is a sub filter, for each text value that the sub filter operates on. The impact of this is that real per-file initialization/finalization needs to be performed in a script that is not inside any sub filters". Could you explain what this means? Is th...

need help with regex plz

Trying to decide the following problem by regex in Textpipe: Mark (no matter how) every FIRST unique abbreviation in text (for instance consisting of 3 capital letters \b[A-Z]{3}\b). The latter abbreviations coinciding with the marked ones are to be ignored. Got no idea how to do that. Thanks for an...
