I have been using TextPipe to process lots of UTF-8 files
I have been using TextPipe Standard to process lots of UTF-8 files, all with success, including many with non-Latin characters, such as Cyrillic, Chinese, Thai, Amharic, Japanese, Hebrew.
Only the trial area has those restrictions, just as Simon already explained.

File | Send to & Email clients
Looks like this feature is intended to perform a similar task to Windows Context menu | Sendto | Mail recipient Would it not be better to launch the current user's email client rather than one particular client? I don't use Outlook for email, though it may possibly be installed by default in WinXP. ...

The bug is not unique to my own computer. Same thing happened to a contact of mine in Sweden, who was using my filter.

My context menu options ....
Hi Simon. Most of my context menu options are very specific to my hobby activities with Go Bible Creator . Useful for repeat tasks for work towards different modules. The only one that isn't is called Remove blanks . You could easily construct one like that to include by default in future releases. ...

File | Sendto error message.
Yes - I did nothing special, first I uninstalled the previous v7.9.5, then installed v8.0 of TextPipe Standard. The error message is repeatable. System is Windows XP on Acer Aspire 5630. The XP Media Edition is fully patched with all the relevant security patches from Microsoft. What is this menu op...

TextPipe 8.0 File | Sendto option causes popup error message
Selecting the Send to... option under the File menu causes a popup error message, Invalid class string.
This feature seems to be undocumented. A search for "Send to" in the Help gave no clues.

Editing shell extensions table - autosize rows & columns
Please would you consider adding a feature to autosize the cell sizes for the shell extensions table.
It's annoying that it always opens with some default minimum size, and has to be manually adjusted to become readable.
While I'm on the subject, it would be nice to have a sort feature for the table.

TextPipe 8.0 does not display progress when used from shell
Unlike previous versions, TextPipe Standard 8.0 does not display the progress indicator when it is launched from the Windows Context Menu as a Shell Extension. I think this is an unintended consequence of providing the new Status tab. This is the second software bug I have discovered in the same day!
