The Preview changes tab shows you the affect that the transforms you have specified will have on the sample data currently shown on the Sample data tab. Any cells that have been modified from those on the Original Data tab are shown in Yellow.

Refresh button (on toolbar)

Press F5 or click the refresh button on the toolbar to refresh the preview after you have modified the transform on the Transform tab.
